Bhaskar Krishnamachari is Professor and Ming Hsieh Faculty Fellow in Electrical Engineering, with a joint appointment in
Computer Science, at the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California. He is the Director of the
USC Viterbi Center for Cyber-Physical Systems and the Internet of Things. He has co-authored more than 300 papers that have collectively received more than 20000 citations and best paper awards at top venues including ACM/IEEE IPSN and ACM Mobicom. In 2011, he was included in the MIT Technology Review Magazine’s TR-35 list of 35 top innovators under the age of 35, and in 2015, he was listed in Popular Science Magazine’s “Brilliant Ten”.

He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 2002.
